PEDODONTICS

Deciduous tooth filling:

Deciduous tooth fillings can be made in different colors to make it more fun for young patients as well as protective fillings that release fluoride (sealants) to prevent tooth decay. It is very important to keep them as long as possible because their premature fall can block the space for permanent teeth to erupt

Devitalization:

Treatment of teeth with large cavities or damaged by trauma which can lead to exposure of the pulp (nerve) that causes severe pain and swelling in the affected area. Root canal treatment in children requires special care and experience. It should be performed so as not to risk the deciduous tooth becoming infected and damaging the permanent tooth bud below it.

Treatment of infections:

An infected tooth should be treated immediately. Depending on the case, different treatments are followed to stop the infection with antibiotic therapy, treatment and canal filling

Fluoride Application:

Periodically, once every 3 to 6 months, to protect the teeth against decay and to increase the strength of the tooth after its eruption. It is applied on the surface of the tooth making it more resistant to caries.
